Nature Journalling
Reconnect with the natural world in this mindful workshop led by award-winning botanical artist and illustrator Sandra Morris. Set in the historic garden and visitor center of Nairn Street Cottage, you’ll learn how to observe, draw, and write from nature, whether for identification or simply for pleasure.
Nature journaling invites us to notice the intricate relationships between plant and creature, decay and growth, and the quiet beauty often missed in the rush of daily life. Through sketches, diagrams, poems, lists, or prose, you’ll discover your own way of recording the world around you.
All materials are provided, however, please feel free to bring your own preferred drawing tools, such as watercolour pens, colour pencils and your own journal if you already have one underway.
Venue: Nairn St Cottage, 68 Nairn St, Wellington
